Tuna Mornay
*easy family favourite.
Serves 4
425gm tuna in springwater
1 small onion diced
1 tsp turmeric
1 tbls cornflour
250ml milk
1 ½ cups chopped up favourite vegetables (I use capsicum, zucchini, and mushrooms)
Coconut oil
Method
Melt oil in saucepan, cook onion, then add other vegetables and cook for a few minutes.
Add the tuna in.
Reduce heat and add milk, turmeric, cornflour and stir until thickens.
*I serve on smashed cauliflower or broccoli.
*I serve to my family on brown rice, with steamed broccoli on the side ( I always like to have greens in my meals.
*My boys love grated cheese on top. I have it plain.
