Belly fat- is the weight you’re losing on the scale correct?
Do you feel like you are getting nowhere in trying to lose your unwanted belly fat – yet you are eating good food, drinking lots of water and exercising flat out!
Well maybe you are not having enough of the right type of food, you don’t put any sea salt into your water and you are exercising too much and the wrong way!
If your hormones are out of whack you need to nourish your body in correct nutrition, you need to hydrate accordingly and exercise to the level your BODY and HORMONES can handle.
It is becoming a huge topic of late about the amount of people suffering hormone imbalances and the amount of people that suffer from this but are unaware.
This can become such a huge concern because people are living a lifestyle trying to solve a problem without knowing the reason why.
For example women (and men) are noticing that they are gaining more weight on their stomachs and thighs even though they are maintaining a good diet. So in this case they feel that they need to up the amount of exercise to reduce this unwanted belly fat, and they drink loads of water whilst they are exercising and afterwards to rehydrate.
But little do they realise that when they are having hormone issues caused by external and environmental stress, not to mention the stress they have with why they are gaining the belly fat, that exercising too much or at too high an intensity that they are actually making this situation worse.
To add fuel to the fire they are hydrating with water that may not be filtered and not many people realise you should put some sea salt in the water to replace the lost sodium (unfortunately people go for the sports drink that have the electrolytes plus added sugars).
This also leads to the correct nutrition and supplementation that some people do not understand their body is in need of – eg. good fats (Eating fat will make me fat????) good protein (not lean protein like we have been lead to believe previously). Supplements such as magnesium, vitamin B’s and minerals like selenium and iron.
If you exercise like crazy to try to burn the body fat, people may not eat enough after to repair the body and nervous system, or most common they are not having the nutrients their body really needs – so the body creates more stress, which leads to more storage of body fat.
Exercise itself is a stress to the body, so you’re creating more stress, therefore storing MORE body fat instead of reducing it – you maybe losing weight on the scale, but this will be the loss of muscle not body fat = skinny fat.
Yes our bodies are complicated, but so is technology and other aspects of life. But once you understand what you are working with you will get the results you have been after.
Think of it like assembling something you bought from a shop and you try to do it without reading the instructions, sometimes it works, but in most cases it requires you to read instructions. Like in this case some diets/exercise regimes may work in the beginning, but you soon get to a point you are stuck – that’s when you need to look at instructions (learn about the hormone issue) to know what the next steps involve to achieve the results you are chasing.
Stop guessing and taking supplements that are not proving to be of any benefit, and find out what your inner system is really craving to make it work in an optimal way to get the results you really want – getting rid of that unwanted belly fat!
