Swimming Programs
It’s great to mix up your training.
Below is some swim programs you can print out and take with you to the pool. Laminate them so you can have on the edge of pool with your water bottle.
If you don’t have a pull buoy, kickboard or fins, the pool centres should be able to lend them out, just ask.
Based on a 50 mt pool.
1km swim session
100 warm up
4 x breaststoke up, freestyle back
4 x backstroke up, freestyle back
100 cool down
1.5km swim session
100 warm up
200 medium pace
300 pull buoy
2 x left arm stroke 25mt, right arm stroke 25mt, freestyle back
2 x backstroke 50mt, freestyle 50 mt
200 pull boy
200 kickboard
100 cool down
2km swim session
100 warm up
200 freestyle
200 pull buoy
repeat 3 more times
200 kickboard or fins
100 cool down
