Smoothie recipes

Some great smoothie ideas for –on-the-go breakfasts.
These will be high in energy but this is the best time to have them so as you have all day to burn off them off, plus give you the fuel for the day!

For all the recipes listed below – place ingredients in a blended and mix until all at smooth consistency.

Banana
Mango (frozen is fine as it helps thicken it up, plus is icy cold)
dash chia seeds
4 tbls greek yoghurt
½ cup crushed ice
dash water or coconut water

 

Blueberries (frozen or fresh)
Strawberries
dash chia seeds
4 tbls greek yoghurt
4 tbls quinoa flakes
¼ cup water or milk

 

Banana
¼ cup quick oats
dash Chia seeds
½ cup low fat milk
1 scoop protein powder (optional)
dash vanilla essence
dash cinnamon

 

3 Kale leaves (stalks removed)
½ cup pineapple (fresh)
1/3 frozen berries
½ cup water or coconut water
crushed ice
