Peppermint protein bombs
* Hit the spot
1 cup raw mixed nuts (1/3 cup of each almonds, cashews, walnuts)
1 cup organic shredded coconut (without preservatives)
4 medjool dates pitted
1 tbls cacao
1 teaspoon peppermint essence
5 tbls vanilla or chocolate good protein powder
1 tbls coconut oil, melted
2 tbls chia seeds
Coconut water or filtered water
Method
Mix everything together tip a bit of water at a time, as required to make the mixture wet and then roll into balls.
Coat in coconut and keep in fridge for 5 days
Makes 36 balls

*Afternoon snack
*I keep mine in freezer in bags of two or three for a perfect size treat.
