Fact: If you’re suffering from adrenal imbalances, too much exertion will actually have the opposite effect, raising your stress levels and driving your body to produce more cortisol, which will contribute to fatigue as well as interfere with your weight loss.

Depending on your adrenals, moderate or gentle exercise may be better for you, at least for awhile.

If you continue to increase intensity along with rising stress levels in your daily lifestyle this can cause weight gain.

Many people like to ‘go hard’ with exercise after a very stressful day, which is totally understandable, however you have now really exhausted your adrenals that can take awhile to rebound back.

This can cause restless nights, therefore sleep becomes affected, circadian rhythm thrown out of whack and cortisol levels again being disrupted.

If you’d like to learn more on who to exercise in a way that you work with your hormones, not against them, then reach out and let’s discuss a plan that is tailored to you.

My Healthy Hormone Program has helped other women get their hormones working with them again.

“Working on stressors was probably my biggest eye opener. Previously I was aware of most of them but felt the anxiety surrounding them was just something I had to accept. Processing them on paper & discussing ideas to reduce or eliminate was exactly the focus & drive I needed.”
