The benefits of Yoga and Magical healing

To get away and breathe is something we all need, but feel we do not have the time.

With the retreats I conduct, I like to outsource some other talented humans that can bring their special touches to the experience.

I love giving the beautiful participants ways in which they can fill their cups.

But not only do they fill their cup, the other special humans fill theirs as well.

When you create positive energy and vibes – you’ve got yourself a winner.

I was so lucky to have Amanda Hill join us with her special powers, her beautiful soul, and loveable self to spend time with the crew, she relaxed them through Yoga, and then spent time individually with them to conduct an energy healing session.

I first met Amanda as she sat crossed legged at the front of my Yoga studio – it was instant vibes, and knew that the connection would lead into magical weekend retreats further down the track.

And this is where is began…

Amanda was joined with Jade Lister-Buttle to spread their magic to the women.
This was such a wonderful experience for all involved.

So I asked Amanda what it is she loves most about her special magic:

  • What are three things you enjoy being apart of a retreat?
  1. I love seeing the group come together so perfectly. Each person is truly meant to be there for their soul’s development but also to create the unique energy of a group of like minded souls.
  2. The space to ‘be’. When we were younger we had days free to roam as we pleased, playdates with friends seamlessly turned into sleepovers!
As we get older and life becomes more scheduled, there is a yearning for blank space.
Retreats provide a perfect gateway to tap back in to that freedom.

  3. The growth and awakenings are accelerated and amplified in this environment, it is a pleasure to watch it unfold.

  • What inspires you to nurture women through yoga?

I first turned to Yoga when I was 14 and had chronic fatigue.

Yoga was the only form of movement that would leave me with more energy afterwards. Yoga held my hand over five years with that condition.

It was a huge part of my healing journey and when I recovered, I had a natural desire to learn more and share the magic with others, which is why I became a teacher.

Yoga was back then and still is now such a healing, nurturing aspect of my life.

This is where the inspiration comes to nurture other women, knowing how deeply beneficial it has been for me. As women we often hold space for a lot of people in our life, it’s so important to have space to just be and connect with ourselves.

  • How big is your smile when you watch over your yogis when they are in shavasana? And what is running through your amazing soul?

My smile just gently touches the corners of my mouth during Shavasana.

I feel a humble, contented joy.

It is truly an honour to share the teachings of Yoga with others.

Shavasana is the time to marinate in the incredible energy co-created during the class.

It is indeed one of my favourite times of the class, if not, my favourite 🙂

“Kerrie, thank you so much for your kind words.

Jade & I both had an incredible experience and are so grateful for you having us part of your retreat.

Please do reach out if you feel called to with your future magical weekends.

Well done on making such a special place – lucky retreatees I say!”
