To lose weight quickly is to tie yourself to a treadmill and reduce calories (but this loses your muscle first, muscle is an expensive piece of tissue to maintain ,therefore the body will get rid of it first).

If you want to lose body fat – you want to send a signal to your body that says at least keep this muscle – this is what you get through resistance training.


People rank exercises according to what burns the most calories (HIIT, stepper machine, cross trainer etc)
The reality is this is the least important when it comes to losing body FAT.


The amount of sweat does not rate the workout.

You plateau quicker if you rely on cardio to be your weight loss protocol, utilize resistance training and build lean muscle to help metabolism adapt.
