I work with many women to help heal their hormones, through lifestyle and diet changes.

 

I have learnt so much and still continue to learn from the best in regards to relieving some of the symptoms that women can encounter from the mature ages and even for the monthly PMS breakdowns.

 

Over the past few years I have guided women to change some products they use and reduce the estrogen enhancing situations through environmental toxins and certain foods, but now I have expanding into the natural essential oils as more of a support to women and their families.

 

LAVENDER PEACE

 

Is a wonderful doTerra blend to help those who need some hormonal support.
Lavender peace blend contains: Cedarwood, Ylang Ylang, Roman Chamomile, Vetiver, Marjoram (as well as many other natural wonders).

 

This blend helps those that feel defeated during their PMS, helps with dry skin and hair, mood, lack of patience, cravings etc.


I use this blend in our diffuser of a night to help sleep quality (and especially as we mature as women our sleep becomes worse at times).

The blend has a wonderful calming effect to help settle sleep, that can help children as well.

The Ylang Ylang in this blend helps bring back the love, and the Roman Chamomile is great to help calm our patients which is easily aroused at that time of the month.

 

Now I’ve got to make mention of another dynamite helper for women and that is;

 

CLARY SAGE

 

– this one will help knock those hot flashes out of the park.

This is a wonderful mother oil, helps through premenstrual and menstrual symptoms as well as cramping.
Not only can it help the mothers, it can help those in the family with headaches and migraines as well….

 

Now a clincher on perimenopause and menopause is;

 

GERANIUM

 

And of recent I learnt that this helps phase 1 & 2 of liver detox, helping detoxification of estrogen in the liver.
It is amazing because it helps to bind up the excess estrogen and detoxes, flushes it out of your body so as you do not become overloaded with estrogen.

If you have increased levels of estrogen in your body (from toxins, plastics, pesticides, environmental factors) this throws out your progesterone levels, when these are out of whack.

– HELLO PMS –

 

You become very cranky, it can lead to depression, cause a lot of irritability and your periods become irregular.

To explain; when estrogen levels increase so high, the progesterone cannot rise to that same level, so as these hormones both drop, they should fall to the same level at the same time to release an egg, but with estrogen being so dominant and so high, it usually may fall quicker or further depending, so when they don’t fall nicely and together at the same time, a period is missed.

  • I’d blend 8 drops of each in a roller bottle, add a carrier oil of choice and roll on my abdomen, inside my elbows (thinnest skin area), and around the back of my legs to help absorb into my body. Apply a few times a day and especially before bed and on those days you feel yuk, apply as often as you like.
  • You can also diffuse, it’s magical at night.
