Energy bites

Makes about 30
2 cups almonds or hazelnuts
1 cup medjool dates
3/4 cup sunflower seeds
3/4 cup pepitas
3/4 cup desiccated coconut
¼ cup sesame seeds
2 tbls chia seeds
2 tbls cacao powder
3 tbls protein powder
pinch sea salt
2/3 cup water or cranberry juice
Method
Place almonds, sunflower seeds and pepitas into food processor and chop until fine.
Add coconut, sesame and chia seeds, cacao, protein powder, dates and water or juice and mix until sticky texture.
Pour some sesame seeds, chia and coconut into a bowl for coating the balls.
Shape mixture into balls and roll in seeds to coat.
Store in airtight container in the fridge, they can be frozen.
*if not using cranberry juice I use water with a dash of lime juice
