This is a great and exciting time of year for many people getting back into routine, witnessing their children starting school, starting new jobs, entering into university or relocating for uni or work commitments.

Some people are pumped about the new opportunities for the year ahead, and some are struggling with change and increase of ‘to-do-lists’.

They’re feeling ‘crazy busy’…

For each person life brings different feelings, and some people can cope differently than others.

To those that are needing some supportive help with the overwhelming daily chores, from organising school lunches, work lunches, transportation, after school appointments, daily traffic increase, newsletters, emails, new rules and regulations, new workout routines, gym sessions, shopping, the works – this can send you into a spin, and a mentally downward spiral very quickly.

Many people start EVERYTHING all at once, and wonder why after a couple of weeks, cracks are forming in the ‘perfect routine’.

I strongly believe in cycling support supplements, that are corresponding to the week/month/term/season you are currently dealing with.

To maintain a healthy body and healthy mind…

your body requires help and reassurance that it is getting all the help it can, and therefore you may need to cycle with higher doses of magnesium during some more stressful periods and other times you may need more vitamin D to increase the immune system that is being beaten to bits due to running the body down or seasonal reasons.

Learning about supplements and their benefits has helped me teach others some great supportive hacks that help to keep their minds and bodies in good working order.

Not only can supplements help, so too can essential oils as a natural support base, again cycling these as well.

Here’s one supportive hack:

So for those on the go, I’d like to share with you a wonderful new coffee mix that I love that is originated from some Finnish crew that set up a company Four Sigmatic, located in UK and USA.

These guys have amazing products that are currently all the hype with medicinal mushrooms that have powers for all different situations, from brain power, to energy lift, to wellness, rest and calming.

But the one I’d like to share today is their new – Adaptogen Coffee Mix with tulsi and ashwagandha (Adaptogenic herbs both used in Ayurveda healing) with a hint of cinnamon.

The reason I wanted to share this one is because the mushrooms in this blend is so supportive to help restore and rejuvenate your cells, to truly help you get through these ‘stressful’ days, to give you the coffee hit, without jitters, but with the reassurance to your cells that they need.

Ashwagandha:

Ashwagandha, one of the most powerful herbs in Ayurvedic healing, has been used since ancient times for a wide variety of conditions. It is most well-known for its restorative and rejuvenating benefits.

Traditionally, ashwagandha has been prescribed as a nerve tonic and adaptogen—an agent which helps the body adapt to various emotional and physical stressors.

Used in India for nearly 5,000 years for conditions such as failure to thrive in children, weakness and debility in old age, rheumatism, constipation, insomnia, nervous conditions, stress, goiter, joint inflammation, parasites, hormone balance, and more.

(*Another hormone support)

Ashwagandha is known to help people strengthen their immune system after illness, chemotherapy, or surgery.

It is a highly effective, to help reduce stress and anxiety—by lowering cortisol levels

Tulsi:

Has been used for thousands of years to support a healthy response to stress, natural detoxification, increase stamina, endurance and energy and restore balance and harmony.

Tulsi is nature’s perfect rejuvenation support to our bodies.

Why use this?

Whilst you increase your workload, time spent on technology, increasing your gym workouts or sports commitments, to being stuck in crazy traffic – all these situations send off stress signals in your body.

And what many people do is have coffee on top of this, which is another stress stimulant (I know it is good for antioxidants) but there is no support shown to the cells in the body.

Whereas this coffee blend has the support, and gives the body what it needs, plus giving your mind what it needs (coffee).

All you need to do is open a satchel tip into a mug and add hot water, you can add a nut milk to it if you like, and then sit back and relax, and let the ashwagandha and tulsi do their magic.

2019 agenda…

The message this year is to continually remember to nurture your body, the more you can do this, the more it will give back to you, through either more energy, better moods, weight loss or increase strength/cardio fitness.

If your body is broken, chances are so is your mind and soul.

So nourish your mind, body and soul with good people, good food and good thoughts.
