Breakfast quinoa dish

* after training breakfast.

Serves 1

1/3 cup quinoa
½ green apple finely diced
½ banana
2/3 cup water
vanilla extract
cinnamon
chia seeds
½ cup almond milk or milk

Method


Wash quinoa and place in saucepan with the water and bring to boil.
Place dash vanilla extract and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Place apple in and turn off heat, stir through and leave lid on for 5 minutes
Mix through milk
Serve with banana, chia seeds and cinnamon

*great breakfast after training session.
*good mid afternoon snack if training that night.
