The Adrenal recovery program

Have you been frustrated by gaining weight yet your diet has been good, and you have increased your training/exercise to lose that extra weight that’s still not budging?
Have you felt exhausted all the time, even when you’re not training hard or you’re not as busy as you have been?
Have you become very moody a lot lately and more often?

Have you ever considered you may have adrenal fatigue!

Best you take time out for a short quiz to see where you rate : adrenalfatigue.org/take-the-adrenal-fatigue-quiz

  • Rate yourself on a scale 0-5 (0 being the least likely, 5 being regularly or the most)

Once you take this quiz it will give you your results.

Adrenal fatigue is a serious concern and it’s your body telling you it’s had enough. It could be it’s had enough of the crap food you have been giving it, it could be the amount of exercise you’ve been doing with hardly any recovery. It could be the toxins you are exposed to. It could be from stress around the house within your family life and you’re still trying to do everything plus more!
If you are exceeding your bodies expectations and yet not giving it any down time and reward, if you are eating poor nutrient foods that do not feed your body what it needs – well yes this is a recipe for adrenal fatigue.

There are other tests you can do with a pupil test and of course blood pressure, so if you want to know about these you can ask.

Adrenal glands are located at the top of your kidneys.

In stressful situations your adrenal glands are responsible for raising your blood pressure, transferring blood from your gut to your extremities, increasing your heart rate, suppressing your immune system, and increasing your blood clotting ability. They work damn hard to allow you to survive.

As so many examples are explained like what happened to us back in the day we were created – if we saw a wild animal, are adrenal glands would kick in – our heart rate would rise, pupils dilate, blood would pump into our arms and legs, we would become more alert and our blood pressure would rise.
However back in that day this would occur every now and again, so our body would have time to recover, eat, relax and play.
Our bodies are still made the same, difference being now we do not give our bodies time to recover after overworking them. Therefore we suffer from chronic stress.
If you are under constant stress, you tend to catch colds due to your adrenal glands decrease in immune system function. Your immune system imbalances can cause allergies or exercise induced asthma. Blood flow to your digestive tract is decreased, so you’re prone to irritable bowel syndrome, constipation and diarrhea.
So this leads to more deterioration throughout the body and your stress just goes on and on.

Now hopefully you are realising this is a major concern, you need to start to eliminate some stresses from your body and your lifestyle. You need to understand that if you want your health to improve you need to change and manage stresses such as chemical stress, pollution, blood sugar, food additives, molds, toxins, lack of sleep and most importantly physical stress from high intensity workouts, heavy physical work, exercise and poor posture can cause more stress on the body than you realise.

This brings me to the Adrenal recovery program:

To help you eliminate toxins from your body that could be causing your adrenal fatigue.
To help you eliminate the chemical stress from your body that attributes to adrenal fatigue.
To help you reduce your physical stress in the likes of HIIT training, high crossfit workouts, long runs. You need to bring the level and time of intensity down when you are suffering adrenal fatigue. (Believe me I totally understand!)

I have designed this program to incorporate some strength training – slow and controlled, some bodyweight exercises for mobility combined with an infrared sauna straight after.
You are working on functional exercises to maintain strength and mobility without putting too much stress on the body, then you are detoxing in the sauna and you are releasing toxins whilst your body is in a sympathetic mode (rest and digest) – this helps your adrenal glands to settle, that is helps your mind (for those that think it’s all about pounding the pavement for the sweat factor – again believe me I understand that as well).
You will not gain any benefits if you are in an adrenal fatigue and you continue to train hard everyday for hours, you are wasting your efforts and only placing your health at more risk.

Please contact me for more information about these packs. I highly recommend you reset your metabolism and focus on the recovery of your adrenal glands before you become very very sick. (This comes from personal experience)
